When you access this website, submit a contact form, request a rate quote, or arrange for the hauling of a load, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and to the Privacy Policy that applies to this website.

We may require you to agree to additional terms or a written transport agreement for particular services. Where those additional terms conflict with these general terms, the specific terms of your transport agreement will govern for that particular service.

2. Our Services

Tilden Ag Transport, LLC provides agricultural commodity hauling and bulk freight services. Our core services include grain and silage hauling, livestock feed delivery, fertilizer and seed transport, seasonal harvest fleets, live bottom and walking floor trailer hauling, and backhaul coordination. These services are provided in accordance with all applicable federal and state regulations governing motor carriers.

Our services are supplied on a best-effort and commercially reasonable basis, and the availability of trucks, trailers, and drivers may vary with season and demand. We make every effort to meet the schedules we confirm, but we cannot guarantee that every requested time window will be available. Where our website describes a particular service, that description is an overview and not a contractual commitment of specific results.

We keep a flexible mix of equipment so we can match the right trailer to the right commodity. From live bottom trailers for granular goods to walking floor boxes for bales and high-moisture feed, our goal is to protect your product and keep turns efficient at both ends of the run.

3. Eligibility and Use

You must be at least eighteen years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use our services. By requesting a haul or providing information to us, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements and that the information you provide to us is accurate and complete.

You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only. You may not use the website to interfere with its operation, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or to do anything that could disrupt service to other users. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials we may issue to you and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Scheduling and Confirmations

You may request a haul by phone, by email, or through our contact form. Requests for hauling are not binding until we confirm the load with you, which we do by phone or written communication. A confirmed load includes the commodity, the estimated weight, the origin and destination, the pickup and delivery timing, and the applicable rate.

Inclement weather, road conditions, equipment availability, and events outside our reasonable control may affect scheduling. We will communicate changes to you as soon as we can and will work to reschedule the load at the earliest practical time. We appreciate your patience when conditions outside our control interrupt an otherwise reliable schedule.

5. Pricing and Payment

Rates for our services are based on the distance, the weight and type of commodity, the equipment required, and the complexity of the route. We will provide quoted rates to you before a load is confirmed. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, the quoted rate applies for that specific load and within the stated time window.

Payment terms are stated on each invoice. Invoices are typically due within thirty days of the invoice date unless a different term is agreed in writing. If a payment is not received by the due date, we may charge a late fee, we may place a hold on future loads, and we may suspend services until the outstanding balance is resolved. We reserve all rights available under law to collect amounts due, including the use of a collection service where necessary.

We aim to keep pricing simple and transparent. The rate you are quoted is the rate you are invoiced, with no surprise add-ons. As in any freight arrangement, circumstances that change the job, such as a much heavier weight, a re-route, or wait time at the shipper, may reasonably adjust the final charge, and we will always discuss such changes with you before applying them.

6. Customer Obligations

As a customer, you agree to provide accurate details about the load, including the commodity, weight, packaging, and any special handling requirements. You agree to ensure that the origin location is accessible to our trucks and trailers, that personnel are available for loading and unloading as agreed, and that scale tickets and weigh slips are made available where applicable.

You are responsible for ensuring that any product you ask us to carry is legal to transport and does not create a hazard during transit. You agree to disclose any unusual characteristics of the commodity in advance so that we can assign the proper equipment and follow the proper handling procedure. Failure to disclose a relevant characteristic may affect the safety of the load and is a breach of these terms.

Access matters as much as the product itself. Please let us know about any low clearance, narrow lanes, soft ground, or restricted times at your site so our driver arrives prepared. A little advance detail keeps the whole move smooth and helps us avoid a situation that costs time and money.

7. Weight, Load, and Inspection

All loads are subject to applicable legal weight limits. We will not knowingly transport a load that exceeds the legal maximum, and we may use scales to verify weight before dispatch. Where overweight permits are available and obtained, additional charges may apply and will be discussed with you in advance.

We inspect our trailers before every load to ensure cleanliness and roadworthiness, and we may inspect or count a load at pickup and delivery. If the weight or condition of a load differs materially from what was reported to us, we may pause the move and seek updated instructions from you. We will not be liable for delays caused by inaccurate load information that you provide.

8. Risk of Loss and Damage

We take great care to protect the commodity in our charge, but all freight movement involves some risk. Our liability for physical loss or damage to a load is limited as described in this section and is governed by the terms of any written transport agreement and applicable law.

Except where we act negligently, our liability is limited to the actual value of the commodity at the time and place of shipment, up to the amount per pound set by applicable law for a claim, or up to the declared value we agreed in writing for the load. Products that are perishable, moisture-sensitive, or subject to natural settling may experience weight or condition changes during transit, and we are not liable for normal shrinkage, settling, or evaporation.

If you require full replacement-value protection on a valuable or sensitive load, please tell us before we confirm the haul so we can agree on a declared value and, where needed, arrange additional coverage. Clear expectations agreed up front protect both of us.

9. Cancellations and Delays

If you need to cancel a confirmed load, please notify us as far in advance as possible so that we can reassign equipment and keep our fleet efficient. Depending on how close the cancellation is to the scheduled pickup, we may charge a reasonable cancellation fee to cover costs we have already committed, such as driver time or positioning miles.

If a load is delayed because a shipper or receiver is not ready as scheduled, wait-time charges may apply. We will document any wait time and communicate it to you before invoicing. These charges reflect the real cost of keeping a truck and driver on standby and are standard practice in the freight industry.

10. Intellectual Property

The content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, layout, photographs, and design elements, is the property of Tilden Ag Transport, LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print content for your personal, non-commercial use, but you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or otherwise exploit any of this content without our prior written consent.

11. Acceptable Use and Conduct

13. Limitation of Liability

This includes losses resulting from delays, errors in routing, or system unavailability.

This indemnification obligation survives the termination of these terms and any use you make of our website or services. We may, at our option, assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification, in which case you will cooperate with us in asserting available defenses.
